You Can Help to Fight the Cuts.

You Can Help to Fight the Cuts.

We know that many disabled people are concerned about the government plans to change disability benefits and we would like to hear directly from you how the changes may affect you.

Please can you tell us what you currently use your Personal Independent Payment ( PIP ) daily living component for in this short survey. This will give us a better understanding of how disabled people will lose out if the payment is stopped and the potential knock on effect on the local economy – the people we employ and the services and goods we purchase.

All your responses are anonymous.

We will be using the information you provide to present an overview to a range of decision makers and people in power – such as our local partners, Sheffield City Council, MPs, and the DWP – to help make them more aware of the personal and wider implications of the proposed cuts.

The information will also help campaigners to present a stronger argument for stopping the cuts.

Your evidence will make a significant impact so we very much hope you can take part in our survey, which closes on 25th June

Your participation can make a real difference , thank you.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.
