    Stroke Survivor and Carer Panel Recruiting Members

    Do you have lived experience of stroke as either a stroke survivor or a carer? Do you want to make sure that stroke services are equal and fair for all? Do you live in Barnsley, Bassetlaw, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield? The South Yorkshire Integrated Stroke Delivery Network (SY ISDN) are recruiting for new members for the Stroke Survivor and Carer Panel. The closing date for applications is 9 September 2022

  • New Stroke Rehab And Assessment Centre Opens

    The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, MP, has officially opened the new Stroke Pathway Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre at Norfolk Park.The Minister was joined by staff and patients at an official ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the centre, which ensures patients who are not able to be discharged straight home from hospital receive specialist rehabilitative support, 24 hours a day, at a critical point in their recovery.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
