    Visiting Care Homes Safely

You may be wondering whether restrictions on visiting care homes can be eased now that official figures have just confirmed that the NHS has offered the COVID-19 vaccine to residents at every eligible care home with older residents across England. Even if you or the person you’re visiting have had your COVID-19 vaccination, you must still follow guidance to keep yourself, your loved ones and the other people living and working in the care home as safe as possible.

John's Campaign Survey on Care Home Visiting

Do you have a family member or friend living in a care home ? Is access improving? Is family contact becoming more meaningful and appropriate? If not, where do the problems lie? The closing date for the survey is 30th November 2020.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
