SACMHA was set up over 30 years ago to meet the needs of members of Sheffield’s African Caribbean Community experiencing mental ill health.The issue of their first newsletter aims to capture what is happening in the organisation focussing on direct support through engaging, consulting and informing the African Caribbean community in Sheffield.

A new social cafe and lunch club has been set up by SACMHA Health and Social Care, a Sheffield-based organisation which aims to provide culturally sensitive help, particularly to those who feel marginalised or who struggle to access mainstream services. It will take place at the SADACCA building on The Wicker, every Thursday from August 5th.
