    Long Covid Support and Information

    Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation have worked with 15 other Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to create a new tool designed to support people with Long Covid which is now available at the My Long Covid Needs website. The site is designed to help people feel better supported to manage the impacts of Long Covid and improve access to support service.

If so you may want to share your experiences and help medical professionals sort out strategies to help others.Project Echo, based at St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield, has set up a group exploring the impact of long covid, and how and where people can get the right support. The next session will take place on Thursday 27th January from 1.30 to 3pm

  • Get Together at the Octoberfest

    Get Together at the Octoberfest

    Sheffield ME Group are hosting a series of online activities from the 5th to the 23rd of October designed for people affected by ME/Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and/or long Covid symptoms. It’s their very first Octoberfest. Their October calendar has daily events including , mindfulness, nutrition, playreading, singing and writing workshops and a murder mystery! Get together and share good moments with people who understand your condition.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
