    Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DPPOs) play a key role in the examination process, submitting “shadow” reports to the UN Committee responsible for the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Disabled People. In November we held two UN CRDP Capacity-building and Consultation online workshop events to gather views to submit to the shadow report in preparation for the next examination of the UK under the CRDP. Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
