    Recently, the city council has launched the new Local Area Committees (LACs) and they are keen to hear your views on your local area. This will guide the work of these committees and it is important Disabled people have their say.The survey closes on Sunday 31st October.

    What Has Covid-19 Prevented You Doing?

    What has Covid-19 stopped you from doing that you would have done before? A call for disabled people’s experiences has been made by the People’s History Museum which is working on a film project about disabled people’s experiences and the virus’s impact on independent living. It would like to share your thoughts and experiences their representatives would like to either interview you or watch you on a home-made video clip. The deadline for submission is 5pm, 12 November, 2020.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
