The DPO Forum England have released a Green Paper Explainer, detailing all the key information about the Government’s proposed changes to how Disabled people are supported by the benefits system, the consultation and how we can have our voices heard. The explainer details the impact of the changes, as well as how to how to get involved to resist them.

We’re highlighting the content of some major resources in this article and you may wish to contact any charity relating to your specific impairment or long term health condition.

This month we see a little more movement on the government’s promised green paper on social care. It has taken from as far back as March 2017, when the Government said that it would publish a Green Paper on social care. Here we provide an update and link on the ‘forthcoming’ Green Paper on social care for adults, which we understand will now be published at “the earliest opportunity”.
