Spotlight on ....Mobility Scooters

Spotlight on ....Mobility Scooters

It’s not easy choosing a mobility scooter, is it ? So what are your options and where can you find reliable impartial information? And what may you need to consider before you choose amobility scooter….issues such as how and where to store your one , and whether you can get on public transport using one?

Our information service is often asked those and other questions about mobility scooters. It takes some doing gathering all of this information in one place but we’ve had a go!

We’ve produced an at a glance , simple document that takes you immediately to online information with all the answers. We’re calling it ‘Spotlight on Mobility Scooters’ and like the idea so much we’re creating more ‘Spotlights’ on other topics as well.

These shorter documents complement our factsheets on broader topics such as Equipment and Adaptations, Employment etc. and, like them, seek to answer frequently asked questions.

We’d love to hear any feedback from you or suggestions for other topics ! Please email info@disabilitysheffield.org.uk with any comments, all are welcome , thank you.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
