Talking about life, loss, and death can be difficult – but they are important conversations.
This May, the Sheffield Life, Loss & Death Festival has returned, offering free events designed to create open spaces for people to come together, share experiences, and discuss some of life’s most important and emotive topics. The festival has been curated by Compassionate Sheffield and delivered with a range of partners from across the city.
Many people struggle to talk about grief, bereavement, and death, often feeling unsure of what to say or how to help. Fear of saying the wrong thing can leave people isolated and unprepared. By opening up these conversations, we can build our confidence, and develop knowledge on how to support one another.
Whether you’re looking for a space to share, to listen, or simply to learn these events are for anyone interested in talking about how we can support ourselves and others with these topics that touch all of our lives. Everyone is welcome, and all events are free to attend but please book in advance.
