New DRUK Employment Guide

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has commissioned Disability Rights UK ( DRUK )to produce a new information guide on the education, training and employment opportunities available to people with a newly acquired disability or health condition. The guide entitled “Get back to where we do belong: An employment skills guide for people with newly acquired disabilities or health conditions” includes information about what to expect from employers; advice and signposting on careers, education, training opportunities and welfare benefits; coping strategies and resilience. Personal stories are used throughout the guide.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
