Make it Together's Toolkit Launch

Make it Together's Toolkit Launch

Make It Together is a pilot project that brought together Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) and arts and culture partners to co-create more inclusive ways for Disabled people to enjoy creativity in their local area.

Months of research involving in-person and online conversations, has resulted in a Toolkit to support local groups to improve accessibility in their spaces.

Make it Together is launching the Toolkit with two events and are asking you to save the date and come along!

You can attend on either:

Tuesday 24th February, 6 – 7pm
Thursday 26th February, 12 noon – 1pm

The event is on Zoom ( details later ), is free to attend and open to anyone interested in shaping inclusive, creative spaces where everyone can take part – from choirs and theatre groups to life-drawing and collaging groups.

Recent Feedback

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
