Healthwatch Sheffield Latest News

Healthwatch Sheffield – your local
consumer watchdog for health and social care services – has published its latest newsletter.

Among the articles featured are the Young Healthwatch “Real Me” report in which participants used a survey, an arts competition and workshops in a local college to find out more about young people in the city’s sense of self-worth.

There is also a reminder that voluntary and community groups will be to apply from 19 December for Healthwatch Sheffield’s #Speak Up grant, to receive up to £500 to carry out creative and impactful engagement work within communities.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference
