Free Cycling Opportunities in March

Our inclusive cycling project Sheffield Cycling 4 All is peddling into Spring offering free all-ability cycling sessions to give disabled people and people with long-term health conditions more opportunity to ride a wide array of cycles in safe surroundings. With over 30 different trikes and bikes which can be adapted to you, the sessions are run by a trained session leader and a range of volunteers.

11 – 14th March: National Lottery Open Week – Hillsborough Park MUGA
10.30 – 1.30
To celebrate National Lottery Open Week and as a way of showing appreciation for their Lottery funding, Sheffield Cycling 4 All is offering free cycling all week.

18th March: Adapt-e ICE RECUMBENT TRIKES try-out day – Hillsborough Park MUGA
10.30 – 1.30
Calling all: Stroke Survivors, Acquired Brain Injury Survivors (Headway), Spinal Injury, Balance Issues, Cerebral Palsy, Fatigue Syndrome, Parkinson’s & Amputees. Come try some of the best e-assist recumbent trikes around. Adapt-e will bring a range of Adult recumbent trikes, alongside Sheffield Cycling 4 All’s usual range. No need to book, just turn up.

19th March: Parkwood Springs Inclusive Off-Road Cycling Day
Prebooked slots, starting at 10.30
Come and try out off-road cycling on the tracks and trails of Parkwood Springs, Sheffield. Experience Community from Leeds will be bringing a range of different E-assist off-road trikes (handcycles and foot pedal cycles). The sessions are free of charge but you do need to book in advance and spaces are limited. Each session lasts 1.5hrs.

22nd March: Concord Park Inclusive Cycling Day
10.30 – 2.30
This will be Sheffield Cycling 4 All’s first time cycling in Concord Park. No need to book but you will need to fill in a form if you haven’t cycled with them before.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
