Chilypep Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners

Chilypep Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners

Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners ( CWPs ) work with children and young people who might be struggling with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. They work together with the child, young person and family/carers to help find ways to manage and overcome their difficulties, offering 6-10 sessions of Low Intensity CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).

Some staff at Chilypep , a youth empowerment charity based in Sheffield, are training to be CWPs and are now open to referrals for children and young people in Sheffield and Barnsley who may be experiencing low level anxiety or low mood.

Chilypep have produced an Information Letter for Children and Young People about the offer. They have limited spaces but will be creating a waiting list once they reach capacity.

For more information or a referral form email CWP@chilypep.org.uk or call Olivia Harvey on 07415878967 or Amber Scarfe on 07971951563.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
