Skills for Care have funded a range of training courses for Individual Employers and Personal Assistants. They are fully funded and have been designed by people with lived experience. They are free to attend and both in person or online sessions are available.

There are also a number of Disability Pride events.

Healthwatch Sheffield held a ‘Community Voices’ event recently celebrating all of Healthwatch Sheffield’s community partners, including our Advocacy service. It’s very concerning to hear media reports about the Government’s plans to close Healthwatch England. This would mean the closure of Healthwatch Sheffield and a great loss to our community!
