Your Voice Counts Briefing

In October and November 2018, Healthwatch Sheffield attended three group feedback sessions run by Sheffield Autistic Society
to listen to adults with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and their families/carers about their experiences of health and social care in Sheffield.

As a result Healthwatch published a Your Voice Counts Briefing giving an overview of the key themes that emerged as well as suggestions from attendees about how services could be improved for people with Autism.

Healthwatch Sheffield has received feedback on the briefing from NHS organisations, which you can view here, , outlining how they are working to improve local services for people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
