More Electric Cycles for Loan!

More Electric Cycles for Loan!

We’re excited to let you know that Sheffield Cycling 4 All, our inclusive cycling project, has added three new electric cycles to their loan fleet to loan for free for up to three months!

Their newest additions are:
Easy Go – A unique 3-in-1 trike that works as a mobility scooter, pedal trike, and electric-assist bike.
Easy Rider Compact – A smaller, sporty recumbent trike with low step-through and electric assist. Ideal for people with balance difficulties or limited mobility who want a comfortable and stable ride. Unlike our other Easy Rider model, this one fits through doors!
Stricker Handcycle – A hand-powered cycle designed for upper-body propulsion, ideal for users with limited or no leg function. Attaches to most manual wheelchairs with ease.

These new cycles are part of our commitment to making cycling accessible to Disabled People and those with long-term health conditions across South Yorkshire.

What’s included in a loan?
They don’t just hand over the keys and send people on their way – they offer:
• A free trial session to help people get used to the cycle and make sure it’s a good fit
• Personalised support to build confidence and make safe use of the cycle
• Up to 3 month loan periods, tailored to individual needs
• Ongoing check-ins and advice throughout the loan

You can find more information and the full fleet on Sheffield Cycling 4 All’s website

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
