Have your Say on Warmer and Healthier Rented Homes

Have your Say on Warmer and Healthier Rented Homes

Three Hands invites you to participate in a new project called Let Zero, led by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and supported by the Centre for Energy Equality (CEE).

Let Zero is a pioneering initiative aimed at making it easier for private landlords to renovate and improve their properties. They would like to hear from private renters based in South Yorkshire, particularly tenants eligible for the Priority Services Register (PSR).

The Priority Services Register is a free service offered by energy and water companies in the UK to provide extra support to customers who are eligible may need it due to their circumstances, such as disability, long term health conditions, or age

If you are currently privately renting, and experience or have experienced circumstances that would make you eligible for the PSR Three Hands invite you to participate and have your say on warmer and healthier homes.

Session details:

• This will be a group discussion
• It will be held online on Zoom, on Tuesday 17th June, 12-2pm
• You will be paid £75 for your time and expertise via your choice of bank transfer or gift voucher

For questions or to discuss joining the panel, please contact Yasmin at Three Hands on 07519 434 933 (Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm) or email yasmin@threehands.co.uk

Your insights will be used to help private landlords understand the refurbishments and renovations needed for tenants’ homes to be comfortable, affordable to heat, accessible, and environmentally friendly.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
