Free Sheffield Seminar on Workplace Pension Changes

The law on workplace pensions has changed. Under the Pensions Act 2008, every employer in the UK must put certain staff into a pension scheme and contribute towards it. This is called auto enrolment. It applies to all employers including employers of personal assistants.

But don’t worry, help is at hand!

Disability Rights UK with support from The Pensions Regulator has organised a series of seminars around England that will help answer all your questions.

The Sheffield Seminar takes place from 1.30pm – 3.30pm on 29th November at The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield, S1 4FW (view on map) . A representative of The Pension Regulator will talk about how the law on workplace pensions has changed, what you need to do, and when. There will also be an opportunity for you to get answers to your questions and discuss any concerns you may have.

The seminars are FREE to attend but numbers are limited.
For more information or to book your place, please email Nick Ash at events@disabilityrightsuk.org

All venues are accessible, however please let the organisers know of any access needs you may have in advance.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
