CHC Service Improvement Participation Register

NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group is offering individuals and families who are in receipt of Continuing Healthcare services the opportunity to help set up and be involved in a Service Improvement Participation Register.

They are currently recruiting people in receipt of CHC fully funded services and are keen to involve people in receipt of joint packages of care.

Once they have a database they will be writing to individuals to gain their consent and establish the type of participation they would be able/willing to support. This will include face to face focus groups, home (own or care home) interviews to discuss service experience and ideas for improvement and telephone interviews to discuss service experience and ideas for improvement.

If you’d like to contribute your experience and ideas please contact Paul Higginbottom, the Senior Programme Manager in Ongoing Care at Sheffield CCG by emailing Paul at paul.higginbottom@nhs.net for further information.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
