Chance to Choose in December

Chance to Choose, our exciting project commissioned by Sheffield City Council and delivered by Sheffield Voices to coproduce the new ‘Working Age Adults Framework’ for people with learning disabilities and autism, have four events coming up in December

Two events on 5 and 7 December are for parent/family/friend and other carers. View Poster

Two events on 12 and 13 December are for people who use supported living, respite care, and/or day opportunities in Sheffield. View Poster

Different sessions have taken place across the city since July. Our December sessions are open to people who have and haven’t taken part yet as we welcome further feedback from previous participants and welcome those interested who have not yet had a chance to have their voices heard.

If you or anyone you know would like to take part in these Zooms, please contact kelly.scargill@disabilitysheffield.org.uk for the Zoom details and for other ways of taking part if you cannot make it.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
