Ambulance Service Strike Action

Ambulance service strikes for ambulance staff, paramedics and call handlers are taking place today and on 28 December for 24 hours, between midnight and midnight. Urgent care services are likely to be very busy with longer waiting times than normal.

If you need medical help or advice, please go to NHS 111 online first and only ring 999 if it is a life-threatening emergency.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
