  • Hate Crime – Moor Markets, 17th – 21st October

    To mark National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2017, there will be a stall in Moor Markets from Tuesday 17 October to Saturday 21 October. Run by Sheffield Safe Places, Disability Sheffield and Sheffield Voices, it will be a chance for people to draw attention to the issue and to interact through art.

  • Southern Health NHS Trust Guilty Verdict

    After a 4 year justice campaign Southern Health Trust has finally pleaded guilty in court for its failings in the case of 18-year-old Connor, a patient under their care, who drowned in a bath while having an epileptic seizure at the now-closed Slade House in Oxford in 2013.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
