Widen Your Circle of Friends at the Remember When Cafe

‘Remember When,’ a new cafe on Silkstone Road, Frecheville (at the Sports Club and Social Ground) have launched their Friendship Circle, and are looking for people to join.

The cafe, which serves a mix of healthy food and sweet treats, has a cosy atmosphere as well as activities to stimulate memories and conversation.

In the Friendship Circle, you will be matched up and invited in groups of 2 or 3 people to the cafe to form a new Friendship Circle. After you have been once, you will find it easier to arrange to meet again, talk to new people and try new activities. You could even bring someone with you and help them to try new activities.

If this is something you would like to take part in, then please complete this form and post it through one of the four boxes which can be found at Frechville Library, Hackenthorpe Post Office, Lloyd’s Chemist on Birley Moor Road and the Co-op on Birley Moor Road (forms can also be dropped in at the cafe.) If you’d rather not fill in a form you are welcome to telephone 0796 878 4092 instead.

More information can be found in the Remember When Flyer or on the Remember When website.

If you have any questions please contact Remember When on 0796 878 4092 or by email at rememberwhensheffield@gmail.com

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
