ShipShape Community Hub, which already offers physical and mental health support and practical assistance with food and hardship problems, has a new Social Wellbeing Cafe every Thursday from 11am-1pm.

Together Women in Sheffield are offering Dance Workshops for Wellbeing for women from all backgrounds and experiences.The next sessions are on 1st and 8th November. You can also drop in every Monday to their Women Wellbeing Cafe and their VIBE project also offers drop in sessions for young women aged 12-19 to have a say on issues affecting them and bring about change.

Like to meet other carers, share experiences and have a break? Sheffield Carers Centre has a new webpage providing details of their Carers Cafės and Support Groups. The in-person Carers Cafė takes place at 10am on the 2nd Friday of each month at the United Reformed Church in the city centre (and Zoom events are held on all the other Fridays.Carer support groups’ meet at various locations around the city.

Disability Sheffield and Sheffield Voices have launched a new social cafe for members of the LGBTQ+ community who also identify as being autistic, nerodiverse or disabled. Currently on zoom at 3-4pm every Thursday we meet to discuss issues affecting both communities, socialize and discuss the unique experiences being in both communities has on our day to day lives.
