Together Women Events

Together Women in Sheffield are offering Dance Workshops for Wellbeing in association with Chance to Dance . The classes are accessible, aimed to be fun and engaging opportunities for women to focus on their own wellbeing, build confidence, increase self-esteem, be empowered, while also socialising with women from all backgrounds and experiences.

The next sessions are on 1st and 8th November at Together Women, 106 Arundel Lane, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 4RF.

The Together Women Wellbeing Cafe is run on a drop-in basis so women can attend any time they feel like it. Each week it covers a different topic, chosen by the women and facilitated by a key worker and a volunteer.

It takes place every Monday 12pm – 2pm. The theme on Monday 31 Oct is ‘Understanding Fear’.

Voice, Influence, Be Inspired (VIBE) is a project for and led by young women aged 12 – 19, it explores new ways of communicating with, engaging, and supporting vulnerable girls to develop effective approaches that address the risks they face, with the aim of reducing harm and victimisation, whilst building resilience. As part of this project there are free weekly drop-in sessions every Monday, 4-5.30pm to have a say on issues affecting them and bring about change.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
