    Connected Worlds is one of the community enterprises supported by Sheffield Flourish, running art-based courses to connect people and provide a creative space for them to tell and transform their stories of everyday life. During June and July they are running free creative one to one sessions in person or online for people affected by suicide.

    Pyjama Drama: What a Performance!

    Our Sheffied Voices self-advocacy drama group has developed a play ‘Welcome to Sunny Smiles Care Home’ about the best ( or possibly the Worst ! ) care home around…. which we are showcasing on 4th May at 5.30pm to 6.30 pm at the Showroom Workstation, 15 Paternoster Row Sheffield. If you have a learning disability and want to learns some acting skills we are also looking for new participants for our next adventure starting on 13th May.

  • Sheffield Theatres Launchpad Project

    Last year Sheffield Theatres worked with a group of 10 adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and they created a show that was performed in their Studio. This year the project has developed further into running 5 weeks of skills development workshops before going into the process of making and performing a show. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 3rd January 2018.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
