Childnet’s new project, Thrive Online, is designed to spark conversations about using the internet in a safe and meaningful way.These free resources for educators, parents and carers of young people aged 11 and over with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities ( SEND ) cover the important topics of healthy relationships, digital wellbeing and online pornography.

Model Katie Price’s campaign to make online abuse towards disabled people a criminal offence has won the backing of MPs after more than 220,000 people signed her petition. Following an inquiry the Chair of the House of Commons Petitions Committee said “The law on online abuse is not fit for purpose and it is truly shameful that disabled people have been forced off social media while their abusers face no consequences.”
