We’ve Signed Up to the Sheffield Fair Employer Charter

Sheffield has become the first city in the country to develop a Fair Employer Charter. The Charter can be signed by private, public and third sector organisations, and has an aspiration to create a culture of fair employment in Sheffield. This Our Fair City initiative is a voluntary code of practice, which promotes positive health and wellbeing among the Sheffield workforce. You can sign up to the Charter which shows that you aspire to meet the Charter’s pledges and promote its adoption in your organisation. Disability Sheffield has signed the Sheffield Fair Employer Charter and received a certificate of commitment.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
