Skills for Care want Case Studies of Disabled People working in Social Care

Skills for Care are looking for case studies of disabled people who work in social care.

Skills for Care supports social care organisations throughout the UK to recruit, develop and lead their workforce. They are working with Disability Rights UK and other organisations on a series of leaflets to promote disabled people working in social care.

If you are interested in giving your experiences of ‘getting into, staying on and getting on’ in your social care role, then please contact bernd.sass@disabilityrightsuk.org

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
