LEAP Panel Looking for Members

Have you received care from Sheffield Mental Health NHS Services in the last five years? Are you interested in joining a Lived Experience Advisory Panel ( LEAP ) for an NHS research project on improving mental health services for people from ethnic minority backgrounds?

If please complete and return this Expression of Interest Form to Faith Amasowomwan at faithamasowomwan@mcpin.org . You will be paid for your time.

If you have any questions about this opportunity please contact Faith Amasowomwan on 07562689278 or by email.

It is hoped that the first LEAP panel will be taking place in the last week of July on a weekday with a mix of people in terms of age, gender, sexuality and ethnicity.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
