Free Christmas Day Activities with the WEA

In these uncertain times, the Workers Educational Association staff will be providing FREE online activities on Christmas Day for everyone. Their short activities will run throughout the day and will provide fun and a chance to chat. So whether you are feeling lonely, or are just needing a moment away from the busy family, the WEA will be here for you this Christmas.

Activities will take place on Zoom, meaning you can engage in a safe space with friendly faces from the comfort of your own home.

Click on the button at any point during Christmas Day to join in. The link is here.

Founded in 1903, the Workers’ Educational Association is a charity dedicated to bringing high-quality, professional education into the heart of communities. With the support of nearly 3,000 volunteers, 2,000 tutors and over 10,000 members, it delivers friendly, accessible and enjoyable courses for adults from all walks of life.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
