Young Sheffield Voices

Are you someone aged 16-25 who is disabled or neurodiverse? Would you like to have a say in things that matter to you? If so come along to the launch of Sheffield Voices new youth self advocacy group starting on October 14th.

The group will be held at Burton Street every two weeks from 10am-12pm

Refreshments and a range of snacks will be provided. View Poster

This is an exciting new group open to be shaped by the young people who join us. We have links with other SEND groups and services who will come to listen and help young people through the transition age. It is also a chance to learn about self advocacy and advocacy in your community.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
