What is End of Life Care like in South Yorkshire?

Healthwatch Sheffield want to understand what would make experiences of end of life care better for people in South Yorkshire.
The project, commissioned by NHS South Yorkshire, will help them plan and improve palliative and end of life care services in our area, working with partners including hospitals, hospices, and community services.

They want to make sure that your experiences are heard and will be sharing people’s anonymous feedback with NHS decision makers, to inform their plans to make improvements in Sheffield and the rest of South Yorkshire.

Please complete their online survey if you :

  • are currently using palliative or end-of-life care services
  • know someone who is
  • or if you have been bereaved in the last 2 years

The link also include details if you require support to complete the survey , would like to tell Healthwatch Sheffield about your experiences in another way or if you are looking for further support yourself with this difficult issue.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
