The Amazing Impact of Inclusive Cycling

The Amazing Impact of Inclusive Cycling

Our inclusive cycling project, Sheffield Cycling 4 All ( SC4A ), launched their first ever public impact report at their recent 15th birthday party.

They are rightly proud of its content and of all their volunteers and cyclists and we are proud of them all too!

For 15 years SC4A have been running regular cycling sessions in Hillsborough Park and at events across South Yorkshire. They also run an e-cycle loan scheme, and campaign across the region to secure better infrastructure, support and recognition for the disabled cycling community.

The impact report describes the achievements of the project providing statistics and personal stories showing how the project promotes wellbeing and supports a healthier lifestyle.

You can view the report online or download a copy on their website , or email info@sheffieldcycling4all.org if you would like a paper copy (while stocks last).

SC4A has a new timetable for Autumn and Winter. Their new opening hours from Monday 30th October will be 10.30am to 1.30pm.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
