Let's Talk about Health Data Sharing Workshop

Let's Talk about Health Data Sharing Workshop

Tools for Life is a research project which aims to develop tools to empower people to make informed decisions about sharing their patient data for research. The project is funded by the Wellcome Trust and is being managed by the Information School, University of Sheffield.

Members of the public, patients, and health professionals are being invited to take part in a deliberation day which aims to test tools developed to enable people to think about the benefits and risks of sharing their patient data for purposes beyond their direct care. There will also be discussion about what encourages or discourages people from sharing their patient data/medical records, and factors which influence peoples’ decisions.
Due to unforeseen reasons we have had to put the move back the date of the Let’s Talk about Health Data Sharing event to the week beginning 24th May.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
