Join our Freelance Training Network

Disability Sheffield is looking to create a network of freelance trainers with a lived experience of disability. We are looking for people who have experience of training to support the setting up of this network. Freelance trainers must be able to work online and offline and be able to travel within Yorkshire.

Our network will serve a number of purposes.

  • We want to share training opportunities within the network, so people have access to more work.
  • We want to create a space so trainers can learn from each other and support each other.
  • We want to create a space where we can support other disabled people to become trainers.

If you are interested in being part of this network , please contact us at info@disabilitysheffield.org.uk or call 0114 2536750 for more details. You will be asked to leave a message and our training lead will call you back within a few days.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Very good presentation, brave of the speakers to tell their stories and had a very high impact - feedback from Mate/Hate Crime presentation and video session at Safeguarding Working Together Conference

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
