Hate Crime Awareness

Hate Crime Awareness

Sheffield Voices is proud to announce that we have been successful in securing funding from the Hate Crime Partnership in Sheffield to work with people with a learning disability over the next year to help them understand what ‘mate crime’ and ‘hate crime’ is. T

To launch the work we are doing, we will be sharing stall 76 with Sheffield Safe Places and South Yorkshire Police in the Moor Market Sheffield on 13th October from 10-4pm, spreading awareness as part of National Hate Crime Awareness Week .

This will also involve some flash mob drama sequences throughout the day on this topic. Come say hello!#HateCrimeAwarenessWeek

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)
