Events For LGBT History Month

Several events have been organised in the Sheffield area to celebrate the latest LGBT+ History Month.

Founded in 2005 by Schools OUT UK, which exists to make schools safe and inclusive for everyone, LGBT+ History Month takes place every February.

Among events taking place in Sheffield this month are several film screenings and talks, details of which you can see on Eventbrite. As well as that there are concerts, shows, comedies and club nights, rounded up on the ourfaveplaces.co.uk website.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
