Dignity Award Nominations

Dignity Award Nominations

The annual Dignity Awards celebrate outstanding examples of best practice in adult social care and support in Sheffield.

Would you like to nominate someone for a Dignity award, someone who has gone the extra mile in the last year (April 2022 – March 2023) in supporting you or someone you know to achieve the outcomes in Sheffield’s Vision for Adult Social Care

Who can be nominated?

  • Council workers
  • Workers employed by other organisations delivering adult social care paid for by the Council
  • People Keeping Well community partners
  • Voluntary and community organisations working with adults and funded by the Council.

This includes:

  • workers delivering care and support directly to people
  • workers behind the scenes, who make sure people get the best quality support.

The Awards are judged by local people with current experience of adult social care.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 31 May 2023.

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
