Homecare - What Matters to You?

Homecare - What Matters to You?

Good home care is essential. It helps people to stay living in their homes by supporting them with things like personal care, essential tasks around the home, and other daily living activities like socialising outside the home.

Healthwatch Sheffield and Disability Sheffield want to hear from people who use home care, their families and loved ones to find out how services have been working for you. What works well, what doesn’t and how you would like to see things change. We know that getting the right support is crucial – and with Sheffield City Council planning how to develop home care in the future, we want to make sure you have your say. Your views can help shape the future of homecare in Sheffield.

Join us to talk about homecare at our online event on Wednesday 17th March 2021 from 2-4pm .

The Council have been looking at what people have shared so far, and they have started to put together a plan. They want to tell you about this, and hear your thoughts. Find more about why we’re talking about home care on Healthwatch Sheffield’s website.

You can book your free place on Eventbrite or contact Healthwatch Sheffield by phone on 0114 253 6688 or by emailing info@healthwatchsheffield.co.uk.

When I moved to Sheffield nearly five years ago it was my "go to" organisation. I expect it to stay that way. All the staff and volunteers seem to pull out little gems of effort that disabled people like me couldn't do without. Professionally and personally - I love em :)

A fantastic presentation thought provoking and good questions from the floor around promoting this film/message to the general public not just professionals.

Disability Sheffield is a forward-thinking, energetic organisation doing a lot of positive work in Sheffield. I have no doubt they will continue to do so for a long time to come.
